Tamarack Nature Center

On each of the next two Mondays, June 19th and 26th,  a group will be gathering at Tamarack Nature Center to work on GM and/or NLBC. We will be cutting the tops off the Garlic Mustard plants and piling them up, so if you have a favorite pair of clippers, bring them along. The location of these piles will be recorded so that next Spring the Conservation Corps can come in with weed torches to burn them. The group will meet at 5 PM by the Storage Shed to the right of the main building. The group leader will be Steve Plachinski. For those who come late, we can leave a note on the door of the Storage Shed to let you know where the group will be working. We will finish for the evening at about 7 PM. Bring mosquito repellant. Thank you in advance to all of you who can come and help in our campaign against these invasive weeds.
