LANDSCAPING WITH NATIVE PLANTS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE ECOLOGY OF A REGION

The Basics of Native Plant Gardening:
Going Beyond Pollinator-Friendly

Presented by Terry Serres

At our September Chapter Meeting Terry Serres provided a great deal of information useful to those who are making the transition from conventional to native plant gardening and to those who are thinking about making this transition.  He talked about common mistakes made when people share plants without checking to see whether they are actually native.  He discussed various garden settings (shade, sun, part shade, wet, dry, in-between) and which plants are best suited to various conditions.  To help us apply all this knowledge Terry has kindly made the following resources available:

Plants Not To Share

Native Plants for Different Gardens / Landscaping Situations
